We’re thrilled to welcome you to My Nomad Space! We’re Danny and Sylvie 👋 We’ve been digital nomads since March 2022. The first picture here was taken the day before we set off! Over the past few years, we’ve opened our laptops all over the world, from Southeast Asia to South America, staying in all kinds of accommodations along the way, from beachside bungalows, guesthouses and hotel rooms to one-bedroom apartments, hostels, colivings and shared apartments.
A little more about us: Danny, who originates from England, has a background in the travel industry, as well as experience in content writing. He actually built this site from scratch! Meanwhile, Sylvie is from France and has spent the past nine years working in marketing. As you can probably tell, we both love to travel. Danny has visited over 55 countries, while Sylvie is close to catching up!
Throughout our time working around the world, one issue kept coming up again and again: reliable, decent Wi-Fi at our accommodations. Even the general quality of some of the places was questionable. We know you can relate, with the endless searches trying to find somewhere suitable, the uncertainty about whether a place would actually deliver and the frustration of arriving only to find it is not suitable, forcing you to scramble for somewhere else. Sure, we love a good coworking space or cafe, but overall, we want to work from the comfort of our own space. It is incredibly important to us, and we know it is the same for so many others.
So we scoured the internet, looking for a platform that listed every kind of reliable stay with solid reviews and good Wi-Fi, perfect for people who work and travel, such as digital nomads and business travellers. We found a few attempts, but none truly gave us what we were looking for. That is when we decided enough is enough. We decided to build our own, aiming to make it the world’s most trusted platform for finding all kinds of remote work stays with verified Wi-Fi speeds.
The name “My Nomad Space” was chosen to reflect exactly what our platform stands for. “Space” captures the essence of what we provide; a place to discover your next ideal accommodation, the private space you need to work comfortably and a shared space to connect with a community of working travellers about accommodation.
“Nomad” fits naturally because our platform is built for people who travel for work or work while they travel, from digital nomads to business travellers and anyone making work happen on the move. And “My” emphasises that this platform is created for you; your stays, your connections and your experiences.
At its core, My Nomad Space helps you find trusted remote work stays worldwide – no matter what type of setup you prefer – backed by verified Wi-Fi speeds so you can work confidently anywhere. Wherever you go, this is your space.
