Sliema is served by Malta International Airport (MLA), located in Luqa with easy access by taxi, rideshare and airport buses.

Sliema’s main bus hub is the Sliema Ferries Bus Terminal, with frequent routes across the island. Long‑distance and intercity buses also connect through Valletta Bus Terminal, 10–15 minutes away.
